Women,

Come to the land this summer evening. Let us bring our bodies and hearts together to remember, to FEEL again What Is True: We are of the Earth. This land, the waterways, plains and hills, sky and atmosphere is our primary home and ground of being.

No previous experience is required. This evening might serve as a beginning, a renewal, a deepening and/or a continuation for you. We will move into the land. Listen, touch and feel the one’s ‘speaking’ in their own language. Granite and hummingbird, sweet vanilla-maple scent of ponderosa, Mullein’s delicate yellow flowers on upright stalks, delicate currents of air rustling shimmering leaves of Cottonwood.

There is nourishment for us as women in contact and interchange with other shapes of life, to be sure. And, Knowing arises here, too. Knowing that is ours and more than ours. Knowing that serves life. If we are willing. When we are listening. If we will respond.

We will approach Earth through a combination of ritual, rhythm, a sensory-imagination-embodiment practice that includes an hour of solitary heart-centered wandering & communing with the wild others, poetry, journaling, sharing within the circle of us: What Is True?

Her work engages the mind, hearts, bodies and imaginations of the ones she guides through forms such as: soul-centric dream work, deep imagery, ceremony, soul tasks in nature, council, soul art and writing, Hakomi™, Somatic Archeology™, and specially designed wilderness retreats for individuals, couples and small groups.

Jennie Gershater Lopez, MA, LMT serves as a Somatic Healing Arts Practitioner supporting and guiding individuals through significant life thresholds in a variety of ways including: Body-Centered Psychotherapy, Dance/Movement Therapy, Soul-Centered Bodywork and Somatic Archaeology™. She has worked with clients in her private practice since 1988. She has been serving as a Somatic Psychotherapist on the support team for Surfing the Creative® and other SomaSource® programs since 2007. Jennie shows up as a Tribal Tender throughout the cycles of LIFE, weaving the medicines of Love, Listening, Witnessing, Honoring, Ritual, Nature and Play to support people to Remember their Inner Truth (body~mind~heart~ soul), so that they can Reclaim their Soul Story and Soul SPARK~Rippling inspired LIFE and embodied PURPOSE into the world!
